Vegan Potluck on Feb. 25

Our next vegan potluck is happening on Saturday, Feb. 25, from 5:00-7:00 pm at a new location! The community room of Element Barclay, 1605 Barclay Pointe Blvd., Wilmington (right off of 17th Street at The Pointe). No gates, plenty of parking!

Everyone is welcome, vegan or not. However, all food must be vegan.

This month theme: VEGAN FAVORITES. Whether appetizer, entrée, or dessert, bring whatever you most LOVE eating and/or making.

What are the potlucks for?
The purpose of our potluck gatherings is to make (or purchase) a dish to share with others, get together and socialize with like-minded folks, and enjoy small samples of the yummy vegan dishes everyone else brings. Please bring a good amount of food to share and extra if you’re bringing children or there’s more than one person in your party. Labeling of ingredients is encouraged—as are recipes!

What’s “vegan”?
Remember: this is a vegan safe-space event and DISHES MUST BE 100% VEGAN, with no meat, no fish, no milk, no butter, no eggs, no chicken stock, no honey, and so on. Please ask if you have any questions. wilmingtonvegan@gmail.com

Potlucks are waste-free!
When you attend, please bring YOUR OWN UTENSILS, BOWL, PLATE and drink.
Waste-free means we are not generating any trash – please bring only reusable items, no paper or plastic. There will be a compost bin for food scraps. Please do not scrape food into the sink.

About the venue
This month we are at a new location for us, the Element Apartments at 1605 Barclay Pointe Blvd. There are no gates. Limited parking is available in front of the building and unlimited parking is right across the street at The Pointe Cinema.

If you’d like to attend but cannot contribute a dish at this time, please come regardless. We want you there!
