Let’s gather on the Sunday before Thanksgiving (November 19 at 1 p.m.) for a plant-based potluck! Every holiday dish can be made vegan, including meatless roasts, dairy-free mashed potatoes, and no-egg desserts. And if you don’t feel like Thanksgiving fare, no problem! Come with whatever you like! 🙂
The purpose of Wilmington Vegan potlucks is to bring a dish to share with others, get together and socialize with like-minded folks, and enjoy samples of all the yummy vegan foods everyone brings.
Please come with enough food to share and extra if you’re bringing children or there’s more than one person in your party. Labeling of ingredients is encouraged—as are recipes!
Remember: This is a vegan safe-space event and DISHES MUST BE 100% VEGAN, with no meat, no fish, no milk, no butter, no eggs, no chicken stock, no honey, and so on. Please ask if you have any questions.
This is also a TRASH-FREE EVENT which means we are not generating any waste. Please bring YOUR OWN UTENSILS, BOWL, PLATE, CLOTH NAPKIN, and drink. Please bring only reusable items, no paper or plastic…nothing that will go into the trash.
LOCATION: South Front apartment complex, 1400 South 2nd Street, Wilmington. This is a gated complex with 2 entrances: one off of Greenfield Street and the other off of S. 3rd Street. Park in unnumbered spaces only. The potluck happens in the great room of the main building. See photos below.
